Geography - I presently live in Chicago, before that Boston, before that Chicago, before that Milwaukee (where I was born).
Education - I was educated at the University of Chicago where I studied economics and computer science as an undergraduate and where I am presently pursuing an MBA.
Hobbies - reading, sailing, snowboarding, cooking, beer.
Interests - pretty much everything.
Professional - long and boring section, left for last - immediately after university I worked for the Boston Consulting Group in Boston where I mostly solved marketing problems for financial services companies. Then I worked for Longworth Venture Partners in Waltham where I evaluated early-stage software and media companies. The two completed deals that I was most involved with were Sermo and Innovectra. Then I moved to Chicago to work for William Blair Capital Partners which went out of business in an unpleasant way. Then I returned to BCG, this time in their Chicago office. During that time I co-founded TSS-Radio which is now a relatively large online retailer. I also worked on a handful of startup ideas that didn’t pan out.
